Truthfully, I kinda confused how to make a 'opening sentence' (gosh what am I doing now. ha!). Well it's saturday night and yes I'm doing blogging right this time (it's 9.19PM in Jakarta) at one of the cozy, homie and warm cafe in Serpong, Tangerang. Just knowing this cafe this afternoon but it was opened the end of last year I think.

    CHOCO CROISSANT 32K

ICE JAMAICAN COFFEE + CHOCO CROISSANT = 70K

Well, expectation is not always same with the reality. I mean, I just came here to eat some food (in literally), thinking about eat some pasta or maybe sandwich or etc., but too bad  they're only have a pastry for now. My hungry stomach are craving for some saltyness instead of sweetness but still the croissant is good enough to filling up my stomach. Oh, sorry that my hat was captured on the photo.

Cafe's interior is good, and I think people still didn't get to go here because hey~ it's saturday night and cafe(s) are really full of people on this night but it's kinda quite here but I like it! Not so crowded, the cafe is full of coffee smell it's really nice and good place for study, blogging, or hangout with friends.

Why writing in english is more difficult to express rather than writing in korean?! My english skill going down...... 헐 왜그랬지 진짜ㅠㅠ 영어로 좀 왜이렇게 어렵지ㅠㅠ

That's the rough review for this cafe haha pardon my writing.. gotta be better next time!

After 'tasting' the IKEA, heading to the north of Jakarta where we can meet a street full of foods. You will love it, this is heaven! Exit from toll road, you can see on your left the line of restaurants you can find in here. We went up to 4 restaurants only because we're full. That's more than enough for that day.

    • SEORAE

    cr: the owner
Craving for korean food, 1st stop we choose this restaurant to full-fill my stomach. First time to try this brand it's quite good enough for hungry people like us. The concept of its restaurant took out a street food with wood's chair and there's a line road too, is kinda cool for me.

Ordering with one menu only (because we have to try another food) called Woosamgyeob, the tender and juicy sliced beef belly-grilled it, with sweet and savory sauce and wrapped it with lettuce accompanied by grilled kimchi, onion, and the other side dish. This menu was cost for IDR 139.8k.

    • Cake-A-Boo

Who likes cake? sushi? cake/chocolate/candy factory? Peek a boo~ it's a Cake-a-Boo!! A cake and dessert specialize shop called Cake a Boo, this place use a cake and chocolate factory concept with a colorful pipe on the ceiling and walls, I can say it's like in a fairy tale.

The price itself, for a whole cake price range start from IDR 179k to IDR 289k and miniature (mini) cake starts from IDR 25k to IDR 35k. Worthy price right? If you wanna eat delicious-various cake with a cute concept, let's come to Cake a Boo!

    • NORTH POLE CAFE

Who doesn't like ice cream? Everyone loves it right? Me too! haha finally me and my friend made it to come to a place for an ice loverr called North Pole Cafe, with a ice-blue and white color concept that made us feels like at the north pole! Here's what we order..

    Smoky Pan
This menu is really caught my eyes so we order it only for IDR 68k we can get 6 various flavors of ice cream in a smoky pan, accompanied with cereal and fruitty pebbles.

6 flavors ice cream that we get are lemon, bubble gum, thai tea, cherry, berry forest, and chocolate lemon. Guest what ours fav? All of them! But I don't like cherry very much so I gave it to my friend :p

    Chick Affogato
Another ice cream to taste for you who loves coffee, it is cutie little chick affogato! This cutie little chick cost IDR 35k and truthfully it's too cute to be eaten that I just wanna have this little chick at home lols. Oh, chick affogato has a friend too called Chick Affogatea, which is ice cream with a thai tea kind-of-sauce (or dressing. or whatever hihi)

    • SHIROKUMA
Calling for matcha or greentea loveeerss!
Yeap, another sweet-ice cream place that you must come over by its Shirokuma! If I'm not mistaken, shirokuma (literally) means a white bear or indicated as a polar bear in Japanese, a Japanese dessert made from shaved ice flavored with milk, colorful mochi, fruits, and sweet red bean paste originally from Japan. Different from Japan, in Jakarta is served with soft matcha ice cream but still with mochi and red bean paste.

    Matcha Cake Parfait

It's a matcha soft ice cream, layered with matcha cake, cornflakes, mochi, shiratama balls, chunky-sweet red bean paste and matcha jelly. Love it verry much with this dessert for only IDR 37k, except for matcha cake (for me) it's kinda like a something-sponge-strange cake and I'm sorry I don't like it.

That's all for today culinary tour :)

    Hej!
    (Hi! in swedish)

Like "finally!" being super excited and curious about IKEA in Alam Sutera, Serpong and today me and my friend just experienced the beautiful soon-to-buy home furniture. I heard it used to be crowded but fortunately is not. Basement parking is a cool parking lot ever and yeah it's free.

Time to get in! I know it's random but if you ever went to Incheon Intl. Airport (South Korea) the 'feel' - i don't know what to say. lol - in IKEA is same with the airport. Going straight up to the 2nd floor, the Cafetaria is welcoming us but we passed it to look around first. I have to say that all furnitures in there is coolly awesome. There are few displays for bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, etc. We skipped the 1st floor first because it just market hall (kitchen utensils, etc), bistro, Swedish food market (snacks) and self service furniture area.

    one of the cool corner

Walk around, taking a few photos makes us hungry then it's time to go to Market Hall. Pardon me for didn't took photos like menus, cookies, and etc because of my hungry tummy is calling for some foods. We ordered their 'happening' food like Swedish Meatball. Served with mashed potato, cream gravy sauce, and pickled cucumber, and you can order it for 10pcs, 15pcs or 20pcs meatballs it's up to you. Oh, the price is different too. It's quite delicious.

IKEA Swedish Meatball IDR 40k/10pcs, IDR 50k/15pcs and IDR 60k/20pcs

That's all the short yet to the point post about IKEA. It's a bit sucks because I forgot to bring my shutter weapon called camera. lols Well,

    Hej då!
    (Bye! in Swedish)
